AYURVEDA MASSAGE THERAPIST COURSE

	Due to high demand from those who have attended our centre and retreats we have set up a therapist course. We have designed a Unique Authentic course for those who are interested in practicing as an Ayurvedic therapist or using the knowledge of Ayurveda to integrate with their current practice, be it a Medical doctor or a complementary therapist.
	Aim:
	The aim of this course is to provide an in-depth understanding of Ayurveda and its branches. Also make it practical for the person attending the course to become a true professional.

The Course

This will provide in depth knowledge of Ayurveda & provide hands on experience to practice the traditional Ayurveda Massages.

We have deigned the courses to suite to accommodate participants’ work & life schedules.

	Full Ayurveda Massage Therapists Course (11 weekends) – 150 hours		£1,500

Course Design

The course has been designed in conjunction with our reputable Indian associates Nagarjuna (Ayurvedic Group) Kerala India. They have designed this course will assess the examinations.

The courses are designed to ensure that the participants not only learn the theory but also can interact with the lecturers.

The practical class will have demonstrations, hands-on experience for the students and expert guidance from the experienced therapists & doctors from Kerala.

Printed material will be provided for the students.

Yoga sessions will consist of the theory & practical.

Exercises will be given for you to diagnose body types.

You can experience the purification treatments & special Kerala massage treatments.

You will be taught on healthy living Ayurveda way. This includes mind, body, health, personal health care and food.

	Course Length – 11 Weekends
	The course is based over eleven weekends. This includes the practical classes. The students will need to do additional research and reading during the course. You will be given home work assignments and course work as part of your studies.
	You will be assessed throughout the course. Course work will count towards your final certificate. At the end of the course there will be a written & practical examination.
	Cost:
	The 11 weekend comprehensive course for this ancient holistic therapy is £1,500.
	You will be provided the course hand outs. You need to have your own note books, recommended text books.

Dress Code:

For practical lessons we recommend you bring comfortable clothing and a full apron

Certificate:

On successful completion of the course you will receive a certificate to certify you as a qualified therapist.

Apprenticeship:

Herbal Ayur will offer apprenticeship to some of the students who may wish to gain valuable experience at our centre.

Business Modules:

Those of you who want to practice on their own we will also have separate sessions to help the students set themselves up in business. We would also consider franchise business models, where the students can use our established brand.
